International Scientific Conference and Publication“Agroecological and Climate-Smart Reporting and Communication”
Call for Papers
The Journalism Resource Center (JRC), in cooperation with Caucasus International University (CIU), with the support of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and in partnership with members of the Swiss Association of Communication and Media Research, announces a call for papers for the international peer-reviewed scientific conference and the academic journal: NEXUS: A Journal of Mass Communication and Strategic Narratives.
Priority Topics
- Research on agroecological coverage addressing the impact of climate change on agroecology, local farming practices, and agro-cultural heritage;
- Special attention to studies related to beekeeping, livestock farming, sericulture, the use of wild plants, and other traditional agricultural sectors;
- Analysis of the impact of climate change on small and medium-scale farmers.
Selection Process
- Submitted papers will undergo blind peer review by members of the international scientific council;
- Selected papers will be published in the indexed scientific journal NEXUS and in the conference proceedings.
Deadlines
- Abstracts (max. 300 words, in English): by 15 November 2025;
- Full papers: by 5 December 2025;
- Conference: 10–11 December 2025, Tbilisi.
Funding
- Outstanding authors will be funded by the organizers and invited to attend the conference;
- Priority will be given to scholars from Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan.
Submission
- Papers must follow APA style, explicitly indicating the use of Generative AI (GAI) and ensuring AI transparency;
- Submission, review, and publication are free of charge for authors;

Article Formatting and Structure
General Requirements
- Language: English (authors from Georgia are required to provide both Georgian and English versions);
- File formats: DOC, ODT, SXW, or RTF;
- Page format: A4; margins: top/bottom – 2 cm; left/right – 2.5 cm;
- Font: Sylfaen (for both Georgian and English texts);
- Font size: 11;
- Line spacing: 1;
- Pages: 5–12 (should not be numbered).
Article Structure
- Author information: name, surname, academic title, affiliation, contact details (tel., email) – font size 12;
- Title: centered, bold, font size 14;
- Abstract: max. 4–5 lines in English, italic, size 12; without citations, figures, tables, or illustrations;
- Keywords: up to five, in the language of the paper, italic, size 12;
- Introduction;
- Methodology;
- Research findings;
- Conclusions and recommendations;
- References (APA style).
