Media Competition Announcement

Subject: Call for Entries: Media Competition on Agriculture and Environmental Topics

The Journalism Resource Center (JRC) is excited to announce a media competition for media representatives and content creators in Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan, focusing on agriculture and environmental themes.

We invite journalists to submit work exploring climate change in relation to agroecology, local farming practices, and agricultural heritage. Priority will be given to content highlighting topics such as beekeeping, animal husbandry, sericulture, and the sustainable use of wild plants. Submissions from student media are also welcome.

Eligibility and Submission Details:

• Materials must be published between May 20 and November 20, 2025, in Georgian, Armenian, or Azerbaijani.
• Winners will receive prizes of 2,000 GEL, awarded on December 10–11, 2025, in celebration of Human Rights Day (December 10) and International Mountain Day (December 11), emphasizing biodiversity preservation for sustainable agriculture.
