The Interlink Academy for International Dialog and Journalism (Germany) and the Journalism Resource Center (Georgia) are happy to announce the call to select 12 journalists from Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Russia, and Ukraine to participate in the project “European Laboratory for Advanced Data
The project “European Laboratory for Advanced Data Journalism” enables data journalists (m/f/d) from the countries Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Russia, and Ukraine to network and develop and implement journalistic projects together. The project work will lay the foundation for a long-term
collaboration with new research and joint publications. Ideally, a network of data journalists will emerge whose members will repeatedly join forces in new constellations to work on ever new topics.
The “European Laboratory for Advanced Data Journalism” will start with a one-week long workshop in Hamburg in late June. Participants will present their own work, learn new techniques and develop new research projects. The stay in Hamburg establishes contact with German investigative journalists who can join the network or join in on topics that are relevant to them. The new research projects will be followed up in a work from home phase in July and August. The final workshop will take place in September in either Georgia or Germany depending in the prevailing travel conditions.
